Focus and Scope

Zhedar is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works, including:

  • Original research articles

  • Review articles

  • Selected theses and dissertation-based studies (upon editorial approval)

The journal covers a broad spectrum of disciplines within the social and human sciences. Its primary objective is to promote scientific understanding and intellectual development by disseminating impactful and methodologically sound research.

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring thorough and unbiased evaluation by subject-matter experts.

Plagiarism Policy

Zhedar applies strict policies to prevent academic misconduct and ensure originality. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection software.

Plagiarism includes the use of another individual’s work, ideas, data, or text without proper acknowledgment. Each suspected case is evaluated individually by the Editorial Board.

If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the publication process—including after acceptance, during copyediting, or at the proofreading stage—the author will be formally notified and required to revise the manuscript or provide accurate citation of the original source.

If 15% or more of the manuscript content is determined to be plagiarized, Zhedar reserves the right to reject the submission immediately.

Length Policy

Authors are expected to comply with the journal’s manuscript length requirements. Word counts include the abstract and references but exclude tables, figures, and captions.

Regular Research Articles

  • 3,000–6,000 words: Acceptable (up to 15 figures)

  • More than 6,000 words: Considered overlength (any number of figures)

Submissions exceeding these limits may be subject to editorial revision or additional publication charges.
