Authors guideline

Authors guideline

Researchers and scholars are invited to submit original, innovative, and critical research manuscripts to the Zhedar Journal. All submissions are initially reviewed by the editorial team to ensure alignment with the journal’s aims and scope. Manuscripts that meet these criteria will proceed to a double-blind peer-review process, through which a final decision regarding acceptance or rejection will be made.

Prior to submission, authors must secure written permission for the publication of any third-party materials included in the manuscript, such as photographs, archival documents, interviews, figures, or datasets. All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and must consent to authorship.

Where applicable, research involving human participants, sensitive data, or institutional materials must receive approval from an authorized ethics committee and comply with all relevant national and institutional regulations.

The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet the academic and ethical standards of Zhedar. Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure that their manuscript presents a clear research design, coherent argumentation, and sound methodology. The title should accurately reflect the content of the study, and the abstract should clearly state the research objectives, methods, and key findings. Adherence to these standards increases the likelihood of successful peer review.

Once authors have confirmed that their manuscript satisfies the journal’s requirements, submissions should be prepared and uploaded in accordance with the instructions outlined below.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following criteria before proceeding to peer review:

  • The manuscript complies fully with the requirements specified in the Author Guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • All references have been carefully checked for accuracy, completeness, and citation consistency.

  • All tables, figures, and illustrations are properly numbered, titled, and referenced in the text.

  • Written permission has been obtained for all copyrighted materials, including images, datasets, and supplementary files.

Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction prior to review.
